- Limited standard treatment options: Advanced or rare solid tumours where guideline-directed therapy pathways are restricted.
- First-line therapy failure: Disease progression despite initial treatment.
- Relapsed cancer: Recurrence requiring reassessment of molecular treatment targets.
- Metastatic disease: Supporting therapy decision-making in late-stage presentations.
- High-risk tumours: Newly diagnosed aggressive cancers where more targeted treatment planning is being considered.
Overview
exacta® provides detailed molecular profiling of tumour biology using multi-analyte genomic and cellular analysis. The test evaluates mutations, gene expression patterns, circulating tumour markers and pathway activity that may influence tumour behaviour and potential treatment responsiveness.
By identifying potential therapeutic targets and providing insight into likely response to cytotoxic or targeted therapies, the test may help support more individualised treatment planning. This approach can be particularly relevant in complex cancers where conventional treatment pathways have limited effectiveness.
Results are interpreted alongside tumour histology, staging, prior treatment exposure and overall oncological assessment. Integrating molecular findings into this broader clinical picture may support more informed therapy selection and ongoing disease management.
